Maggi Lund

Margaret Francke “Maggi” Lund, 87, of Wilson, died at her home on January 28, 2023.

A service will be held at a later date.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Lund of the home and Jensen Nelson (John) of Seattle, WA; sons, Jeff Lund of Fremont and Greg Lund of Jackson, MS; grandchildren, Colby and Kellen Nelson.

Mrs. Lund was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John J. Lund in February, 2020 and a brothers, Jack Francke in 2022 and Bill Francke.

She was a true Georgia peach, the middle daughter between two boys, and an amazing wife and mother.  She selflessly gave to her community and family throughout her life. Her bright smile and endless devotion will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, PO Box 1527, Wilson, NC 27894 or to the charity of one’s choice.
