WILSON - Mae Landing Eatmon, 89, died Sunday, July 1, 2018.

Funeral, Friday, 12:00 Noon, Winstead United Methodist Church, Tarboro Street, preceded by a time of visiting and sharing beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park beside her husband, Rudolph Eatmon, who died in 1997.

For decades, Mae was a dedicated and faithful servant to her church, serving on many committees and other capacities until her death.  She worked for the regional office of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in North Carolina as the administrative assistant for more than 40 years. After retirement from the regional office, she worked as treasurer of First Christian Church in Wilson for several years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose for over 30 years.

Surviving is her sons, Ronnie G. Eatmon of the home and Ken Eatmon (Brenda) of Wilson; grandson, Derek Eatmon of Zebulon; granddaughter, Marlow Jane Eatmon and great-granddaughter, Everly Mae Eatmon.

She is predeceased in death by her parents, Charlie and Dallar Jobe Landing and brother, Marvin Landing.
