Funeral, Saturday, 2 PM, First Baptist Church, Stantonsburg, followed by visitation.
Linda is survived by her husband, Dr. Billy Manning, Jr.; son, Ashley Hodges of Raleigh; step-children, Brent Manning (Lisa) and their children, Savanna and Emerson of Ashville, Benjamin Manning (Jessica) and their children, Julianna and Evan of Wilmington and Katherine Webb (Thomas) of Wilson; brother, Phillip Howard of Washington; sisters, Cheryl Bradley (Cecil) and Kay Medlin of Wilson; sister-in-law, Jean Howard of Colonial Heights, VA; one niece and four nephews and beloved cats, Tucker, Simba, Bob, Casper, Charlie, Little bit and Blackie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Howard and Kathleen Baker Howard Bass; step-father, Hubert Bass and brother, Douglas L. Howard.
