WILSON - Lillian Simmons Maddox, 94, a resident of The Landing in Wilson and formerly of Salinas, CA, died Saturday, June 9, 2012.
She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church in Salinas, CA and worked 65 years for Evans Drug Store, Hank's Drugstore and finally All Care Pharmacy in Salinas. Lillian enjoyed spending time in her rose garden. Her husband, Raymond, preceded her in death in 2005. She moved to Wilson in 2008.
Graveside Funeral, Thursday, 2 PM, Evergreen Memorial Park.
She is survived by her son, Lawson Maddox (Virginia) of Wilson and daughter, Bette Ann Matuszek of Paso Robles, CA; granddaughter, Donna Henry (Troy) of Wake Forest; grandsons, Kenneth Maddox (Kelly) of Garner and Michael Matuszek (Jeab) of Paso Robles, CA; great-grandsons, Stephen, Aaron and Justin Henry and Ryan Maddox and great-granddaughter, Grace Maddox.
