Leta Lamm Ballance, 92, died July 7, 2007, in Morristown, TN. She was a Wilson county native, widow of Howard Ballance, retired school teacher and had been living in Morristown in recent years. Funeral, Thursday, 10 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery. Survivivng are nieces, Betsy Murphy of Greensboro and Frances Pearsall of Raleigh: nephews, Charles Nichols (Connie) of Dandridge, TN, and William Lamm of Raleigh. She was preceded in death also by five brothers and two sisters. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Wednesday, 6 - 7:30 PM.
