WILSON - Lemuel O. Winstead, 74, died Monday, February 24, 2014.
Funeral, Thursday, 7 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.
He retired from Hackney Body Works after 32 years and as a detention officer with the Wilson County Sheriff's Office after 8 years.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Alice Gay Winstead, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Mary Lamm Winstead; brother, Linwood Winstead; his canine companion, Snoopy, in December.
