Laynette Williams Cooley, 82, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Her husband, Millard F. Cooley, died in May, 1996. She had been a volunteer for mental health services in Wilson County. Funeral, Saturday, 11 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Surviving is her son, Frank Cooley (Diane) of Rolesville: sister, Shirley Baird of Roanoke Rapids: nephews, Tony Bradley of Roanoke Rapids and Eddie Bradley of Atlanta, GA: great-nephew, Jacob Bradley (Brittany) of Roanoke Rapids: great-great-nephew, Ethan Bradley of Roanoke Rapids.
