Katherine Bryant

Katherine Mercer Bryant, 95, of Elm City, died Friday, March 22, 2024.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, 11:00 AM, at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Elm City, followed by visitation.

Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Glenn Bryant; daughter, Patricia Vick; son, Glenn Bryant; parents, James Walter Mercer and Lillie Mae Summerlin Mercer.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Elizabeth Sloan of Holly Springs; grandson, Andrew Bryant of Elm City; great-grandchildren, Rachel Sloan, Casey Sloan, Savannah Webb, and Katie Bryant; great-great-granddaughter, Elena Mae Cherry; nephew, Ronnie Finch of Durham; family friend, John Crabtree of Sneads Ferry.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aenon Baptist Church, 7503 Town Creek Rd, Elm City, NC 27822.
