June Bristow

June Bristow of Wilson, NC, passed into the Lord's hands on February 3, 2025, at the age of 96 in Rocky Mount, NC. 

June was born in Boston, Massachusetts to Paul and Anna Post on July 19, 1928. She had a younger brother Paul, Jr. that preceded her in death. While working at the National Institute of Health and living in Maryland, she met her husband Robert L. Bristow. They were married for 65 years prior to Robert's death on May 5, 2017. 

She completed her associate degree as a Medical Secretary at Fisher Junior College in Boston Massachusetts in June of 1948. She worked with a group of doctors on Beacon Hill in Boston for a few years before deciding to relocate to Maryland for a Civil Service Job with NIH. Over the years she has shared many happy memories of the time going to dances with friends and celebrating good times with family. 

June is survived by her daughters Anne Speight (Tommy dec. 12/6/2022), Barbara Bristow, and Nancy Pietsch. Her grandchildren, David, Steven, Casey and Emily and her great-grandchildren, Raven, Ayden, Parker and Jaxx. 

The family of June extends sincere thanks to the many care givers she had over the last several years of her life for their compassion and support.
