Judy Cozart

Judith Dudley Cozart, 79, of Wilson, died Monday, August 12, 2024. 

There will be a graveside service at Maplewood Cemetery, Friday, October 4, 2024, 11:00 AM, followed by a reception at the Wilson Country Club.

Judy was a native of Washington, NC. Her husband, William Thomas "Bill" Cozart, preceded her in death, as well as her parents, Claude and Ethel Dudley. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s School and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She and her husband made their life in Wilson where he was an attorney. 

She is survived by her son, William Thomas Cozart Junior and his wife, Theresa, of Wilmington, NC and their children Abby of Boulder, Colorado and Jon of Wilmington, NC; her daughter, Claire Cozart Edwards and her husband, Brad, of Alexandria, VA who have three children Anne Macon of Madrid, Spain and James and Adair of Alexandria, VA. She is also survived by her brother, Stuart Dudley and his wife Lilly, of Washington, NC; her sister, MayI, and her husband, Joe Taylor, of Washington, NC. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
