Joseph S. Brinson, 80, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007. He was retired from the grocery business and had lived in Warsaw before moving to Wilson. Funeral, Friday, 11 AM, West Nash United Methodist Church. Committal service, 3 PM, Devotional Gardens, Highway 24, Warsaw. Surviving is his wife, Mavis Kennedy Brinson: sons, Mark Brinson (Gwen) of Wilson and Tim Brinson (Cindy) of Mint Hill: grandchildren, Kristin Brinson of Wilson, Josie Holland (Kelly) of Charlotte, Joseph K. Brinson of Belmont and his fiancé, Sara: great-grandchildren, Derek and Tyler Holland. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Thursday, 6:30 - 8 PM.
