ELM CITY - James Thomas "Jimmy" Hart, 71, died Saturday, August 5, 2017.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the family home place located at 6209 William Chapel Church Rd, Elm City on Wednesday at 4:00 PM. The visitation will be one hour before the service. Casual dress is appropriate.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Winstead Hart; daughter, Kim Shearin (Jon) of Louisburg; son, Rev. Jim Hart (Caroline) of Crossnore; grandchildren, Nicholas Stillman and McRae and Lillie Hart: mother, Huldah Pridgen Hart of Elm City and sister, Linda Moore (Fred) of Elm City.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, William Wesley Hart; sister, Barbara Jane Pridgen and brother, William Walter Hart.
