It's difficult to imagine you not being around any more. Difficult to realize that now I have to rely on what I've learned from you to survive here without you by my side. I've already felt you encouraging me to push forward 1 step at a time, day by day. Mom and I will continue to walk this life relying on our great memories of our times together.
You fought to spend as many days here with us as you could.
I know you are in the best hands now. My peace in this comes from knowing you had the Lord in your heart and that you are now on his permanent vacation plan. I know the view from up there is just amazing. Until I get there with you, much love dad!! You are missed!!
JIMMY CHAD BUNN
He thought the world of Heather, loved Elvis and I loved to see him smile when he listened to Elvis music. He always treated me like his daughter. He always asked me about my family and specifically my opinion about things. I felt like he praised me and appreciated me as a mother and wife. I remember saying that I had never owned a new car and would love a red one....he, along with Dorothy Bunn, had one in the garage with a huge bow! He was always a hard worker and provided for his family. He shared with me how He rose above what he had as a child and growing up and encouraged and help me do the same. He loved his mama and always took care of his mama. Mondee loved to put his head on Jimmy's lap.
Leslie Bunn, who was like a daughter to him
Pa is one of my best friends. I will miss him immensely until I see him again when I get to Heaven with him.
