Jimmy Holland

Jimmy Edward Holland, 87, of Wilson, died Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

A graveside service will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will greet those in attendance following the service.

He is survived by his wife Judy Lucas Holland; daughters, Kim Ellis (Mark) and Beverly Cooper of Wilson; grandson, Justin Ellis (Riley Garris) of Elm City.

Jimmy was excited about the arrival of his great-granddaughter next month, Amelia Wade Ellis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Cassie Lee Sullivan Holland; sisters, Betty Faye Raper, Annie Lee Barnes, and Doris Godwin; brothers, Orez, Albert, Rupert, Willard, Wallace, and Willis Holland.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Milbournie OFWB Church, 5854 Countryside Rd, Wilson, NC 27896 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
