Jewel Windham

Jewel Moore Windham, 91, of Wilson, died Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

Funeral, Saturday, 2:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, with a time of visiting beginning an hour before the service. Burial, Stantonsburg Cemetery, beside her husband, Elbert P. Windham, who died in 1985.

Mrs. Windham was a registered nurse for several years and many will remember her in the office of Dr. Sam Ryburn.

Surviving is her son, Elbert Windham (Martha) of Fuquay Varina and several nieces and nephews.

She was a daughter of the George and Laura Sauls Moore of Greene County.  Preceding her in death also were two sisters, Marjorie Sawyer and Eula Grace Hill.
