Wilson - Jennie Lane Wooten, 91, died Sunday, October 1, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sim A. Wooten. Funeral, Tuesday, 2:30 PM, First Christian Church conducted by Dr. Jack Clifford. Interment, Stantonsburg Cemetery, Stantonsburg. Surviving: daughters, Sarah Cox of Wilson and Annette Ludlam (Jack) of Annapolis, MD: sons, Sim A. Wooten, Jr. (Judy) of Stantonsburg and William Wooten (LuAnn) of Wilson: 8 grandchildren: Sonny Wooten, Dawn Ferreira, Eason Wooten, Chance Cox, Kevin Ludlam, Peter Ludlam, Brittany Wooten, and Davis Wooten, and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the church, 207 N. Tarboro Street, Tuesday, one hour prior to the funeral.
