Jean Walston Millinder, 79, of Wilson, died Monday, July 13, 2020.
Funeral, Saturday, 10:00 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, on the lawn. Bring your lawn chair and masks are encouraged. Before the funeral, the family may be contacted at the home of Richard Millinder
She was the widow of Richard “Dickie” Millinder who died in April, 2011, and a daughter of the late Leslie Woodrow and Pearl Jones Walston. A brother, Woody Walston, preceded her in death. A hairdresser for 53 years in the Wilson area, she was a member of New Beginnings FWB Church. She was an avid gardener and loved to cook for family and friends.
Surviving is her daughter, Pam Bass (Jeff); sons, Richard Millinder (Kim) and Michael Millinder (Pam), all of Wilson; grandchildren, John Williams Bass, II, Kaitlyn Hill, MacKenzie Hill Coffey; great-grandchildren, Paylen and Carter Coffey; sister, Helen Walston (Lynn) of Wilson; brother, Skip Walston (Dot) of Wilson; niece, Heather Walston; nephews, Tommy Walston (Ellen) and Kevin Walston (Jennifer).
