Jean Hill

Jean Petway Hill, 85, of Cedar Point, and formerly of Wilson, died Friday, February 28, 2020.

The funeral will be Monday, 11:00 AM, Forest Hills Baptist Church followed by a time of visiting and sharing.  It is noted she sang in the choir for 52 years.  Interment will be for and at the convenience of the family.

Surviving is her daughter, Lynn Eldridge (Scott) of Cedar Point; son, Jay Hill (Anna) of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Eldridge, Caleb, Warren and Stephen Hill; great-grandchildren, Katie, Cheyenne and Eddie Hill; sister, Joyce P. Ferrell of Wilson; friends who were like family include Mandy McCourt (Mike) and Douglas Whitley and his family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Edward W. Hill; son, Eddie Hill; granddaughter, Beth Hill; parents, Millard and Beatrice Jones Petway.
