Fremont - Jean Gates Batten, 80, of Frank Price Church Rd, Fremont, died April 17, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton "Speed" Batten, and a daughter, Dale Ingram. Funeral, Wednesday, 4 PM, Black Creek Cemetery. Surviving is her daughter, Gloria Jean Ingram (Rusty) of Biloxi, MS; sons, Johnny Ingram (Sandra) of Black Creek, Ronnie Ingram (Kathy) of Elm City, James Ray Ingram (Brenda) of Pikeville; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Bartlett Eason of Lucama; brother, Jimmy Gates of Black Creek; half-brother, Palmer Grady of Wilson.
