J.C. Ford

James Carlton “J.C” Ford, 79, of Kenly, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.

Due to COVID-19, the family requests that you share their grief in spirit rather than in person. They thank you for your understanding and for your prayers.  For those wishing to pay final respects, a viewing will be held at Spring Hill Presbyterian Church Fellowship Center, 7335 Springfield School Road, Lucama, on Friday, December 4, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

Mr. Ford is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janice Scott Ford, two daughters Lori Taylor, (Lowell) and Lisa Smith (Mitch); four grandsons, Matthew Smith, Jonathan Smith, Dawson Taylor and Exum Taylor; sister, Allie Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James William Ford and Louise Ellis Ford; brother, Wiley Ford; sister, Mary Lillie Adams; grandson, Christian Marshall Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Spring Hill Presbyterian Church, 7335 Springfield School Road, Lucama, NC 27851 or to the SECU Family House at UNC Hospitals, 123 Old Mason Farm Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27517-4431.
