Janie Capps Boswell, 74, of Stantonsburg, died Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

A service will be held for the family.

Janie is survived by her husband James Boswell; sisters, Marie Bunn of Wilson and Faye Duke of Chesapeake, VA; children, Samantha Adams (Gary) of Fayetteville and Billy Stevens of Wilson; grandchildren, Savanah Stone (James) of Wilson, Austin Wheeler (Raven) of Pinetops, Jessica Skinner (Ty) of Wilson, and Chase Wheeler of Stantonsburg; great-grandchildren, Maverick Stone, Phoenix Stone, and Nora Skinner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mamie Wells Capps, son, Mark Stevens, and grandson, Mark James Stevens.
