WILSON - James Dennis "Jim" Swank, 69, of Wilson, died Friday, November 9, 2012.
Jim was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who departed this earth unexpectedly. You will be in our hearts and minds forever.
Jim was retired from TRW in Greenville with 30 years of service.
Memorial service, Tuesday, 7 PM, Forest Hills Presbyterian Church followed by visitation.
He is survived by his wife, Valarie Dunn Swank; daughters, Deborah Swank Helton of Ringgold, GA and Kimberly Swank and husband, Stephen Kiess of Greenville; step-daughter, Jessica Womble Cline and husband, Doug, of Greensboro; grandchildren, Nicole Piekarski and husband, BJ, Ross Helton and fiancée, Ashley, Davis Kiess, Evan Kiess, Sam Cline and William Cline; nieces, Michelle Montgomery, Laurie Klipfel and Christine Blatt and mother-in-law, Jean Gay Curlin of Wilson.
