Homer Gardner

Homer Ray Gardner, 85, of Wilson, died Thursday, July 11, 2024.

A graveside service will be Tuesday, 11:00 AM, at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Mr. Gardner retired from Bridgestone/Firestone. He was preceded in death by his wife Georgia Elmore Gardner in 2021 and his parents, Luther and Lela Holt Gardner.

He is survived by his daughters, Shirl Walsh (Larry) of Burlington and Cindy Dean (Timothy) of Kenly; son, Timmy Gardner of Stantonsburg; grandchildren, Khristina Grant (Bob), Autumn Jarrett (Jeremy), Lillie and Maddie Gardner, Kimberly Dean, and Derrick Dean (Olivia); great-grandchildren, Gracie, Waylon, and Sawyer Hayes Dean, Camden Grant, and Georgia Marie Jarrett; sisters, Dorothy Winstead of Wilson and Margie Shelton of Stantonsburg.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Stantonsburg PH Church, PO Box 98, Stantonsburg, NC 27883.
