BLACK CREEK - Henry Evans, 67, of Black Creek, died Wednesday, December 9, 2015.
Funeral, Saturday, 11 AM, Wilson Memorial Service. Burial will be for and at the convenience of the family.
Henry was proud of his service to the community through the Black Creek Fire Department with over 40 years of service. He served in the USAF from 1969-1973 and was a tobacco farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Bass Evans; sons, Henry E." Hank" Evans, Jr. (Amy) of Black Creek, Lee Evans (Karen) of Snow Hill; grandchildren, Grace, Jesse, Colton, Nathan Evans; brothers, Fred "Butch" Evans (Brenda) of Garner, James Evans (Lila) of Washington, NC; and mother, Fay Evans of Black Creek.
The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Friday, 6:00 - 7:30 PM and other times at 5703 Frank Price Church Rd.
