WILSON - Harvey B. Edwards, 91, died Saturday, August 7, 2010. Mr. Edwards was the owner and operator of Harvey Edwards Landscaping for over 50 years and was a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine Swenson Edwards; parents, Wiley Thomas and Alice Cummings Edwards; sisters, Irene Jackson and Cricket Edwards and brother, Murray Edwards. Funeral, Wednesday, 2 PM, First United Methodist Church. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery. Surviving is his daughter, Mary Ann Wansong (Joe) of Fairview; sons, Bryant Edwards (Sherry) of Wilson and Mike Edwards (Carolyn) of Raleigh; grandchildren, Jennifer Hoverstad (Carl), Sarah Edwards (fiancé, Ford Baker), Anna Edwards (fiancée, Jason Whitehead) and Dustin Edwards; two great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Corbett of Wilson; brother-in-law, Ernest L. Swenson, Jr. of Osawatomie, KS. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Tuesday, 7 - 8:30 PM.
