Funeral, Monday, 10 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson. Burial with military honors will be in the High Family Cemetery, High Crossroads, W. Hornes Church Rd, Bailey.
Surviving is his wife, Barbara Morris High; daughters, Deborah High of the home, Barbara High (William Humbles, special friend) of Scuffleton, Vicki Russell of Southern Pines; grandchildren, Jason High (Jessica Varrato, special friend), Cassie Thornton (Kevin), Anthony Malvaso (Lauren Couch, special friend); Chloe Russell; great-grandchildren, Joshua High and MacKenzie Thornton; sister, LaRue Williamson (Bud) of Wilson; brother, Gerald High (Rose) of Fayetteville, TN; canine companion, "Herck".
The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Sunday, 6 - 7:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Humane Society in your community.
