ELM CITY - Ollie Gray Weaver Johnson, 74, passed away on August 26, 2017, surrounded by her family.
A memorial service will be at Wilson Memorial Service on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 6 pm followed by visitation. Rev. Johnny Hendricks and Rev. Barry Drum will officiate.
Gray was born in Wilson on December 17,1942 to the late Clifton Edward Weaver and Ollie "Mae" Newcombe Hamm.
Gray was married to the love of her life, Wilbur E. Johnson, on January 13, 1963; they were married 54 years.
Gray was the owner and operator of M&G Interiors for 22 years. She then became a Design Consultant with Farmville Furniture until she retired in 2006. Gray dedicated her life to her husband, children and grandchildren.
Gray is survived by her husband Wilbur; daughters, Alyson Johnson Narron (Jeff) and Amy Johnson Perry (Chance); grandchildren, Blake and Taylor Narron and William and Lindsay Perry; sister, Phyllis Pennington and brother, Billy Weaver (Ann), brother-in-law, Adrian Webb; 7 nieces and 2 nephews, and other family and friends.
Gray was also preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Ann Webb; brothers-in-law, Tom Johnson and Randall Pennington and sister-in-law, Barbara Johnson.
