Glenn Reusch

Rochelle, VA – Glenn A. Reusch, 78, died Tuesday, October 26, 2021.

Funeral, Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, 1:00 pm, at Wilson Memorial Service, Wilson, NC.  The visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.  Burial, Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.

Glenn graduated from Northfield Macedonia High School and Kent State University, he worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. in Decatur, IL for 28 years.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Helen Hathaway Reusch; daughters, Karen J. Sesek and Christine A. Schutz of Boise, ID; grandchildren; Abigail Sesek, Olivia Schutz and Wyatt Schutz; step-children, Terri Pierce (Chris) and Robert Hendricks (Laurie) of Raleigh, NC; step-grandchildren, Christopher Pierce, Ashley Strickland and Robyn Hendricks; nieces, Nancy Sheaffer of Findlay, OH and Loni Price of Austin, TX.

Glenn was preceded in death by parents Paul and Alice Reusch; brother, Paul Reusch, Jr., and step-grandchild, Cody Pierce.

He enjoyed spending time in nature and his hobbies – including bonsai and suiseki – reflected this. His passion for numbers led him to enjoy solving mathematical and logic puzzles and he read widely, always enjoying visits to bookstores and book sales on the hunt for his next read.

Glenn sat on the board of the National Bonsai Foundation and served as secretary (and “driving force”) of the Potomac Viewing Stone Group.
