WILSON - George R. Owens, 81, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012.

Funeral, Friday, 2 PM, Maplewood Cemetery, Section J.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Taylor Owens in November 2009.

Surviving is his sister, Katie O. Aycock of Louisburg; and several loving nieces and nephews.
