Gary Boswell

Gary Wayne Boswell, 68, of Goldsboro, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, September 9, 2024.  

A graveside service will be Saturday, September 14, 1:00 PM, at Barnes Family Cemetery, 5216 Wiggins Mill Rd., Lucama. The family will greet those in attendance following the service.

Born with a servant’s heart, Gary was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Many of his family and friends knew that if anything needed to be built or fixed, Gary was the one to call. He was generous with his time and would always see a job through to make sure his loved ones were taken care of. 

Gary is survived by his son Wayne Boswell (Angie) of Goldsboro; daughters, Terry Flumerfelt (Adam) of Wilson and Kelly Russo (Jim) of Atlantic Beach; grandchildren, Leah, Stevie, Selah, Zac, Krystal, Kolyn, and Austin; sisters, Susan Pittman (Scooter) of Wilson and Sandy Huff (Randall) of Oxford; brother, C.T. Boswell (Mandy) of South Boston, VA; several nieces and nephews; many friends and cousins that he grew up with, loved, and enjoyed having breakfast meetings with to discuss life and the workings of our world. 

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen David Boswell, Jr. and Thelma Toler Boswell, and brother, Stephen David Boswell III.
