Frances Rogister

Frances Newcomb Rogister, 68, of Sims, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 3, 2023.

Funeral, Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 7pm at Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation. Interment, Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 2pm at Stantonsburg Cemetery.

Frances enjoyed spending time with her family, doing word searches, and cooking for those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Robert and Alease Newcomb, brother, Robert Edward Newcomb, and son, Dustin Rogister.

She is survived by her loving husband of more than 30 years, Edward “Ken” Rogister of the home; daughter, Teffany Brantley (Chris) of Spring Hope; son, Kenny Rogister, Jr. (Danielle) of Fountain; boys she raised, Kenny Rogister III (Amber) of Rock Ridge and Richard Rogister of Rock Ridge; brothers, John Newcomb (Wanda) of Oxford and Richard Newcomb of Bailey; sisters, Nora Cockrell (Dennis) of Rocky Mount and Rhonda Johnson (Bob) of Stantonsburg;  grandson and apple of her eye, Tyson Brantley, and grandson, Jordan Rogister and granddaughters, Chelcea and Kassadee Rogister.

We would like to offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to the amazing staff (Critical Care Unit) of Nash UNC Health Care, who gave such amazing care to our dear Frances, and to staff of Fresenius Kidney Care of Spring Hope.
