Felton Ballance

Jacob Felton Ballance, 85, of Lucama, died Friday, March 14, 2025, in his home.

Funeral, Tuesday, March 18th, 6:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, Wilson, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park with Masonic Rites at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 15.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Boswell Ballance; daughters, Amanda Daughtridge (Odis) of Wilson and Tammy Whitley (Graham) of Kenly; son, Mark Ballance (Kaye) of Buckhorn; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Vickie Ellis of Lucama.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Raymond and Linnie Mae Ferrell Ballance of Wilson County; sister, Emma Jean Wellons.

The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice and special caregivers Meagann Spivey and Brittany Jones, as well as caregiver Sherby for their gracious love and support.  A very special thank you is extended to his granddaughter Emily for her loving care during his illness.
