Faye Lamm Rose, 90, of Pikeville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, with her family by her side.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, 11:00 AM, at Bethel Church, Goldsboro, of which she was member for 54 years. The Rev. Dr. Steve Holder and Pastor Barry Ginn will officiate. The visitation will be immediately following the service. Burial will be in the Pikeville Cemetery, conducted by Pastor Daniel Weeks.
She was the wife of the late Jimmy Rose. They were married on her 16th birthday in 1949 until his death in 2010.
Born in Wilson County on March 19, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Celia Hayes Lamm. She was also preceded in death by sisters Jean L. Winstead, Lona L. Daughtridge, and Thelma L. Pridgen; brothers, Carl, John, Ollie, and Kermit Lamm and a granddaughter, baby girl Peele; sons-in-law, David Peele and Kemp Raper.
Faye is survived by her daughters, Dianne Peele and Phyllis Ginn (Phillip) of Pikeville, Marsha Parrish (Don) and Heidi Raper of Wilson, and Tommy Cifers (Tim) of Kitrell; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice and her caretakers, Jenna Best, her granddaughter, and Trisha Capps and Catherine Windham.
