MIDDLESEX - F. Lawton Davis, 86, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015.
Funeral, Friday, 6:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Dr, Wilson, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Entombment, Saturday, 12 Noon, Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 US Hwy 70 W, Princeton.
He retired to Middlesex from Clearwater, FL, where he had been a supervisor with Risser Oil Corporation.
Lawton was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Gertrude Davis; sons, Alan and Richard Davis; sisters, Lois Norman, Hazel Waddell; and brothers, Thurman and Norwood Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Braswell Davis; sons, Rev. Merrill Davis (Marlyn) of Stantonsburg and Mickey Davis (Cindy) of Pikeville; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; step-son, Barry Barbour (Rae) of Four Oaks; three step-grandchildren; and sister, Peggy Mooring of Middlesex.
