LUCAMA - Ezell Bailey Smith, 91, died Friday, March 10, 2017.
Funeral, Sunday, 2:00 PM, Buckhorn United Methodist Church. Interment, Buckhorn Cemetery.
She is survived by many friends, neighbors, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George V. Smith and son, Timothy V. Smith; mother, Vick Narron Bailey; brothers, Vernie and Gernie Bailey and uncles, Battle and Percy Narron.
Ezell was nicked named "Easy" by one of her teachers at Buckhorn School - the name stuck and followed her throughout her life. She married George Vernon Smith on November 27, 1946. Ezell was a hard-working helpmate to her farmer husband. She was an excellent homemaker and a wonderful cook. Ezell was an avid gardener of both flowers and vegetables which she shared with her extended family, friends and neighbors. A lifelong member of Buckhorn United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and of course was called "Miss Easy" by all her students. Ezell was also very active in the Women's Circle at Buckhorn UMC.
