WILSON - Eva Gray Sullivan Pridgen, 79, died April 18, 2015 after a short illness.
Funeral, Monday, 2:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation.
Rev. David Kriger will officiate. Interment will be Tuesday, 10:00 AM, at Maplewood Cemetery.
Eva was born September 3, 1935 to Ezra and Blanche Bell Sullivan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Geraldine Nichols, Betty Kennedy, Dorothy Sullivan and Carolyn Sharpe.
She graduated from Lucama High School and was a member of St. Mary's FWB Church. Eva retired from P.L. Woodard after 28 years of service and returned to work as secretary and treasurer of Pridgen Farm.
Eva is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Marion L. Pridgen; step-sons, Keith Pridgen (Rhonda) of Zebulon and Scott Pridgen (Kelly) of Maryland; step-grandchildren, Josh, Hunter, Dawson, Jaden and Ryan; step-mother, Hattie Lee Sullivan of Lucama; brothers, Elwood Sullivan (Lucille) of Kenly, Phil Sullivan (Carol) and Earl Sullivan (Cathy) all of Lucama; sisters, Marie Davis (Glenn), Pat Radford (Albert) all of Smithfield and Lou Boswell (Roy) of Micro and many nieces and nephews; special friends, Ed and Mary Varnell; special friend and caretaker, Remedias N. Alvarez.
The family would like to thank Community Hospice, especially; Kristen, Kim, Michelle, Lucy and Bea.
