SARATOGA - Ernestine Gardner Taylor, 84, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007. She was the widow of Charlie Taylor and a daughter of the late L. A. and Bessie McKeel Gardner. Funeral, Thursday, 4 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and other times at 7000 Main Street, Saratoga. Surviving is her twin sister, Christine Gardner Gay who lived next door: step-sons, Charlie Taylor, Jr, of Raleigh and William Taylor of Knightdale: five step-grandchildren: sister-in-in-law, Ruth S. Gardner of Winston-Salem: nieces, Cathy Gay of Vienna, VA, Debbie Britt of Rougemont and Cornelia Ann Clodfelter of Winston-Salem: nephews, Harvey R. Gay, Jr., of Cary, Bob and James L. Gardner of Wilson, Maynard Gardner of Roswell, GA: several great nieces and nephews: a great-great nephew. Memorials are suggested to the Saratoga Christian Church, PO Box 395, Saratoga NC 27873.
