WILSON - Elmer Eugene Thomas, 85, died Sunday, November 22, 2009. He was retired from Mello Buttercup, having worked as a salesman and division manager. He was member, past deacon and trustee at Grace Baptist Church.
He was born in Wilson County to Hilliard Ransom and Sallie Gray Thomas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Brown Thomas and brothers, Selby Thomas and Clyde Thomas.
Funeral, Wednesday, 12 Noon, Wilson Memorial Service, conducted by Rev. David Barnes. The visitation will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
He is survived by his brother, Curtis Thomas and wife, Josephine, of Wilson.
