EUREKA - Elizabeth Williamson Sauls, 94, died July 2, 2008, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a long time resident of Eureka and the widow of Ronald Earl Sauls. She was born in Lucama to the late Kinchen and Mollie Williamson Williamson. Preceding her in death also was a grandchild, Chadwick Merritt Booth; a great grandchild, Faith Harris; sisters, Estelle and Evelyn; brothers, Ivey, Leonard, Bill, Dick and a half-brother, Roland. Elizabeth, known affectionately as Lib, was a member of Eureka United Methodist Church for over 60 years. She was an avid gardener and loved sharing fresh vegetables and flowers with family, neighbors and friends. Lib was a treasured friend and always greeted everyone with a warm smile. Funeral, Friday, 11 AM, Eureka United Methodist Church. Interment, Eureka Cemetery. Surviving are daughters, Ann Jackson and husband, Jerry, of Goldsboro, Erlene Booth and husband, Doug, of Eureka; son, Ronnie Sauls and wife, Jeannie, of Eureka; grand-children, Jay and Cindy Jackson, Jeff and Shannon Booth, Kathy and Davis Harris, Kim and Brian Andrews, Heather and Z. Xaragoza, Rhonda Booth and friend, Dean Pender; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Lee Boykin of Wilson and Lindsey Rawley of Cincinnati, OH; brother-in-law, James Russell Sauls of Fremont.
