Elizabeth Plauche'

WILSON - Elizabeth Ann Bass Plauche’, 87, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017.

A burial service will be conducted on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in the Columbarium.   The Rev. Marty Stebbins will officiate.

Betty was born in Norfolk, Virginia to Charles Fredrick Bass and Mary Fletcher Bass.  She was a graduate of William and Mary College and became an elementary school teacher. She volunteered at the Community Soup Kitchen of Wilson County, the office at her church, the Right To Read program and served as secretary of the Wilson Woman’s Club.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Dickerman of Wilson, Elaine Judge of Dunwoody, GA, and Alice Plauche’-Evans and husband, Billy, of Bailey, and her grandchildren, Daniel Dickerman and wife, Monica, of Pittsburgh, PA, Samuel Dickerman and wife, Kristin, of Pittsburgh, PA, Grace Dickerman of Columbus, OH, and Emily Judge of Lawrenceville, GA, and a great-granddaughter Lydia of Pittsburgh, PA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Brock Plauche’, her parents, her son-in-law, Wayne Judge, her granddaughter, Charlotte Dickerman, and great-granddaughter, Eloise Dickerman.
