LUCAMA - Edward Van "Boy" Watson, 85, went to his heavenly home Saturday, August 2, 2014.
Funeral, Tuesday, 7:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation. Interment, Wednesday, 10 AM, Evergreen Memorial Park.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife Letha Jones Watson on July 14th; parents, William Thomas and Pearl Turner Watson of Wilson County. He had worked for the former Simpson Gin Company, Lucama and Alignment Tire Service, Wilson, each for more than 30 years.
He is survived by his sons, Scott Watson of the home and Mark Watson (Janet) of Lucama; granddaughter, Meagan Watson; step-grandchildren, Michelle Aycock (Travis) and Richard Glover (Mindy); step-great-grandchildren, Tricia, Hailey, Lauren, Lucas, Piper and Tucker; former daughter-in-law, Malinda Watson; sister, Edna Barnes of Black Creek; brother-in-law, Chuck Dozier of The Villages, FL; sister-in-law, Barbara Watson of Ohio; life-long friend, Bill Holland of Lucama; many special nieces and nephews.
