WILSON - Earney W. Cayton, 92, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006. He was a lifelong member of Daniels Chapel FWB Church, a veteran of WWII, and a retired farmer. Funeral, Friday, 11:00 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, conducted by Rev. David Charles Hansley and Rev. Johnny Sullivan. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. Surviving: wife, Emma Lee Godwin Cayton, daughters, Peggy Carnahan (Wes) of Wilson, Jane Bynum (Roger) of Stantonsburg, and Nancy Baldree (Lee) of Black Creek: 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren: brother, Howard Cayton of Wilson: sisters, Rachel Pope of Wilson, and Lucille Jones of Durham. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1108 Windemere Dr, Wilson NC 27896 or to the Kidney Foundation of North Carolina, 5950 Fairview Rd, Ste 550, Charlotte NC 28210.
