Doris Whitley Dildy, 77, of Wilson, left her loved ones and friends on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Funeral, Thursday, 7 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation. The service will be conducted by Rev. Doug Skinner and Rev. Royce Reynolds. Interment, Friday, 11 AM, Evergreen Memorial Park. Doris is survived by her husband, Alvin Dildy; daughter, Trudy Dildy Lewis and husband, Dale, of Raleigh; sons, Kelly Dildy and Kenneth Dildy and wife, Tommie, all of Wilson; grandson, who was the apple of her eye, Trevor Dildy of Wilson; step-grandchildren, Kate Lewis Keith (Robin) and Ryan Lewis (Alexis) of Clayton; step-great-grandchildren, Lilly Heder and Alena Lewis; sister, Virginia Mercer of Walstonburg. The family will receive friends at other times at the home of Kenneth and Tommie Ellen Dildy, 4502 Hatcher Ln, Wilson.
