WILSON - Chief Master Sgt. Fred McDonald "Don" Pridgen, Jr., USAF, Retd, 80, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015.
Funeral, Friday, 2:30 PM, Mount Zion United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Leo Bennett. Entombment, Evergreen Memorial Park. A time of visiting will be from 1:00 - 2:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall.
The Wilson county native retired from the Air Force with over 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred McDonald and Margaret Ross Pridgen; brothers, Bobby Pridgen and Russell Williams and his wife, Mildred; brothers-in-law, Wilbur Williams and Carl Brewer.
Surviving is his wife of 53 years, Audrey Meadows Pridgen; sisters, Jennie P. Williams and Mary Grey Brewer, both of Elm City; niece, Diane Grimes and husband, Roff; nephews, Wilbur Williams, Jr, and wife, Nicole, Dale Pridgen, Dr. Douglas Brewer and wife, Priscilla, Ted Allen Brewer and wife, Julie, Russell Lee Williams; sister-in-law, Nancy Pridgen and several great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Mount Zion United Methodist Church, 5326 London Church Rd, Elm City, NC 27822-9124.
