Derl Pace

Edmund Derl Pace, 94, of the Bailey community, died Tuesday, January 21, 2025. 

Funeral, Saturday, 2:00 PM, Bailey Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Michael Coppock followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Interment will be in the Bailey Cemetery. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Miller Pace, in March 2022, and his parents, Benjamin and Betsy Beard Pace of Nash County. 

A veteran of the Army during the Korean Conflict, his work was with electric motor repairs – a vocation he really enjoyed. 

Surviving is his daughter, Cindy Childress (Kent) of Bailey and his son, Mickey Pace of Franklinton.
