FREMONT - Daphne Barnes Fulkerson, 88, died Thursday, December 1, 2011.
Funeral, Sunday, 2 PM, Elmwood Cemetery (New Section). The family will then move immediately to Fremont Missionary Baptist Church for a time of visiting and sharing.
Surviving is her daughter, Brenda F. Bowie (Jim) of Fremont; son, Michael Fulkerson (Wilma) of Scotland Neck; grandchildren, Jenna Bowie, Mark Bowie (Erin) and Troy Fulkerson (Judy); great-grandchildren, Lauren, Katy and Jimmy Fulkerson, Brent Bowie; sisters, Ruby Brown of Fremont and Marjorie Singleton of Portsmouth, VA. Preceding her in death were her husband, James F. Fulkerson in 2007 and sisters, Dixie Edmundson and Ladell Pate.
