Dacie Babb

Dacie Elizabeth Quillen Babb, 90, of Wilson, died Saturday, April 2, 2022.

There will be no formal services per Dacie’s request.

Dacie was born in Greeneville, TN to the late J. Clyde and Gertha Quillen.

She was preceded in death by her husband 66 ½ years, Lynn S. Babb.

Dacie is survived by her sons, Keith Babb and his wife, Aileen, of Wilson; daughter, Karen B. Tucker of Katy, TX; seven grandchildren, Matthew Tucker, Zachary Babb, Brandon Tucker, Carson Tucker, Ryan Tucker, Nicholas Babb, and Melissa Babb Stein; nine great-grandchildren.

Dacie was a nurse, then a stay-at-home mom, and after her children were grown, she managed an office for over 20 years.  Her husband Lynn’s engineering career took the family to many locations to live.  Dacie enjoyed the adventure of exploring new places, which continued with numerous trips to a variety of countries during retirement.  Dacie was an accomplish bridge player, played golf, gardened, camped, and with her husband, rose to the highest level of challenge square dancing.  Most of all, she enjoyed her time with friends and family.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
