WILSON - Craig Deanhardt, 80, died Friday, February 9, 2018.
Funeral, Saturday, February 17, 5:00 PM, Westmoreland Pentecostal Holiness Church, 3102 Tilghman Rd. The visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral. Inurnment, Graceland Cemetery, Greenville, SC.
He worked for the Wilson Daily Times as a reporter/photographer, received awards from the NC Press Association for sports photography, and was a lifetime member of the Jaycees. He served in the Army National Guard.
Surviving are his daughters, Jill Deanhardt, of Raleigh and Kelli Tedder of Wilson; son, Brian Deanhardt of Harkers Island; grandchildren, Preston Deanhardt, Elizabeth Tedder, Jessica Adcock and Jonathan Tedder, and Bryson Deanhardt; great-grandchild, Eli Lamm; a brother, Ronnie Deanhardt of Pickens, SC.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Oscar and Chlora Jane Fleming Deanhardt of Greenville, SC, and a sister, Iris Kay Thompson of Greenville, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Veterans Airlift Command or to Wounded Warriors.
