Elm City - Clifford Ralph Schrock, 88, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013.
Funeral, Saturday, 2:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of
visiting and sharing. Inurnment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
He moved to Wilson in 1967 from Goshen, IN, to be with Goshen Rubber Company as they opened the Wilson GNC plant. He retired in 1987 as plant manager. Affiliation with Goshen began after his service in the Army during World War II. Upon retirement he moved to Florida, returning to the Wilson area in 2003 to be closer to his family. He was indeed a man who enjoyed his grandchildren.
Surviving is his wife, Beverly Caldwell Schrock; daughters, Joyce Ann Hoover (Jerome) of Wakarusa, IN, Jane Ann Brantley (Jesse) of Middlesex and Julia Ann Crawley (Bill) of Hillsborough; son, Scott Lee Schrock (Stephanie) of Elkhart, IN; 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren; sister, Lorraine Marceta Schrock of FL, brother, Glenwood Schrock (Marge) of Goshen, IN.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Michael Fitchett (Jane) of Fuquay-Varina and his younger brother, John Lamar.
