WILSON - J.C. "Click" Newcombe, 87, died Thursday, March 24, 2016.
Funeral, Saturday, 11 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Dr, N. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ann Dickerson Newcombe; daughter, Patricia N. Miller (Mike); granddaughters, Meredith C. Taylor and Anna M. Taylor; great-grandchildren, Austin Godfrey, Aidan Hale and Aaron Hale; extended family, Beth Covolo.
In the community, he formerly owned Food Lane Supermarket, was a member of the Wilson Elks Lodge, BB&T Local Board and was a good friend and mentor to many.
Considering health conditions at home, friends are asked to visit exclusively at Wilson Memorial Service Service, Friday, 6:30 - 8:00 PM.
